Hey guys I hit up lilli on sunday. I got to the launch around 1 and fished until around 6ish. I ended going up the Shepaug to try and see if I could get any bites. Some pretty steady action. A few bass, yellow perch, smallmouth, and one pike was even caught. Heres the biggest one of the day 18 1/2in 3.4oz smallmouth. It is actually my personal best smallie!

The largemouth were mostly worms but I had good luck with a crawfish pattern crank. |

Up in the shepaug arm i had a pike eat half of my rock bass i was pulling in. I took the pictures to a bait and tackle and they said the teeth marks had to come from a 10-15 pound pike. Really nice lake to fish when youre the only one on it. Nice smallmouth, its probably one of the biggest ive seen out of there this year. _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |

They wouldn't let me wear my White Sox cap for the pre-game photo shoot tonight. A Red Sox fan behind the plate lent me his cap. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
