My buddy and I fished his private lake that he lives on from 6:30 to 9 pm. Started the night off catching a big sunny that bit on my perch colored lure. After my buddy caught 3 straight bass using a shad colored super fluke all around 1 and a half lbs.. one was prob a 2lb.He caught a pickerel and released it and my line happened to be near the boat and it hooked onto my line i was about to bring up..He also caught on large calico. My luck wasnt very good untill it was about dusk went i got my first of 4 bass on a popper. Then after a couple average sized for the lake i got this big guy in about a foot of water three feet from the boat. After two and a half hours fishing we ended up with 7 bass, 4 pickeral, a sunny and a calico.hope these pictures work...

Nice fish. I just heard the Wicked Witch of the West in my head. "Poppers. . . poppers will make them eat. . . ." _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

There can certainly be more productive ways to catch 'em, but to me top water is by far the most fun!! _________________ Dave..... I can be a pain in the bass. |
