Does anyone know of any good places to go fishing from shore? I still have yet to catch a keeper striper and I want to start trying again. I've been to the DEP docks with absolutely no luck and to the saybrook causeway with only one big blue to show for it. Also, does anyone know if that construction to the bridge near the niantic bay is still going on? Can you get on the beach yet?

It all depends on what part of the state you live in an how far you're willing to travel.

The only place I know of down there, from reports, is the DEP docks. Otherwise, I'm not familiar with much east of New Haven.

Hi,

Fort Trumbull is in New London, Ct. (Thames River).

The DEEP dock is at the mouth of the Connecticut River.

Big difference and lot of miles between the two ! Shocked
