Fishing tomorrow around 5am and was torn between going to Besek or Gardner Lake. Anybody have any thoughts or recommendations? Have not fished either lake in a while. Thanks for the advice. |

Not sure about Beseck but Gardner is always a horror show on the water and at the ramp in the afternoon on holiday weekends. If you do go to Gardner bring a couple big crankbaits and find the sunken island next to the island out from the launch. This time of year big post spawn females move out to it. You have a good chance of catching a fish over 5. _________________

Hi,
Gardner is a 3 lake.
You couldn't pay me to go there!
The absolutely worst boaters I've ever encountered go there!

I've been there once and I must agree with all...although on the positive side they have a nice boat launch - compared to a lot of other state launches. _________________ Steve |
