Heard back from the HRF this week. The fish was tagged in the Hudson River off Manhattan in the spring of 2010. Two years later I caught it in the CT. Pretty cool.

My cousin caught a tagged striper about 5 or 6 years ago in the sound. The striper was tagged 5 years prior in north carolina!!!! They sent him a certificate of the catch, a hat, and a t shirt from dep. I love hearing tag stories. It's pretty amazing what these fish can do and survive.
