I'm trying to get out tomorrow EARLY (like 6 am early) to do some fishing before I have to work at 3 pm. Is anyone here interested in joining up? Let me know!

Went there this morning and hit about 20 trout. Catch and release only for me.

Any good ones? Also, what spot were you casting and what were you throwing out there? I just want an idea of what's working over there at the moment.

Left back over by the tree in the water and throwing lures and meal worms, seems like they get lure shy after awhile and then start killing on meal worms and then you can go back to the lures again. The back or the falls are the only 2 areas I even bother with ever.

You've never fished under the stone wall near the red bridge? That pool is AMAZING if you hit it at the right time. I've seen some big fish get pulled out of there and some tiger trout! I personally love the fast water more than anything else there. It's all preference.

Ive never seen that area with less then 10 people fishing there! LOL. I really dont like to fish to close to other people. Way too many idiots out there crossing lines and I just cant deal with that! Ive fished there a few times but its usually crowded so thats why I said what I did. Ive pretty much fished the whole place from beginning all the way down to Edmunds Rd. Theresa another pool down a little further where some nice ones have been pulled out along with some bass and thers usually a beaver hanging around in there, hes cool, he just moves to the side and pretty much watches you fish! LOL

Oh, I totally see where you're coming from fish. Were you there opening day in the early afternoon? It was shoulder to shoulder at the pond area and a spot was impossible to be had.

This is why you have to get there early Very Happy.

LOL, it doesnt matter if you get there early as the people just pile in right along side of you. They just dont care about breathing room. Hell no I didnt go there opening day. Then besides the fishers you get the 20 3 year olds with their Spongebob Poles.

Haha very true. It's pretty annoying when people don't respect your space.
