That's not surprizing...neither is Champlain being 5th. A bit longer drive but well worth the trip. What is surprizing is Congomond is 41st????

Yeah hopefully the home owners on Congamond will stop killing all the weeds outside their homes or it will fall off the list quickly.

Lake Champlain is by far my favorite place to go. Such an awesome fishery

the killing of weeds on congamond has been going on for YEARS and has not effected the bass fishing one bit. Lived on that lake for almost 30 years and my mother still does. In my honest opinion one of the best deep water structure lakes in the area. By far probably one of the best average size bass lakes in the area also. That all being said im actually not all that suprised that it made the list. I dont fish shore lines!

Good to know! I've only fished it a handfull of times and have only caught a couple of bass from there. I've caught as many trout as I have bass probably. I guess I should get my tungsten weights out and check the place out a bit more.

Sounds good to me. I don't live far from there so I just need a day that I can get out and fish it.

I agree with that. That's why I said it would fall off. The killing of weeds there has def. increased over recent years.
