Been reading the site for a while, finally decided to sign up. I'm from Simsbury, and fish locally as well as different areas around the state. A favorite shore spot of mine is the crew docks on the Farmington River, where i've pulled out a few nice sized Fall Fish (16-20 inches). Of course there are some Rockbass, Crappie occassionally, and if they aren't bedding, Largemouth. After all the posts me and a few friends (one a member here) went to batterson park this past saturday. We pulled out a few fair sized Largemouth, as well as white perch. Unfortunately, no walleye. Simsbury hosts some nice local ponds as well.
