I Didn't get a single hit in two and a half hours. I threw the kitchen sink at them (Rooster Tail, Panther Martin, Trout Worms, and Kastmaster). I heard it gets fished out pretty quick. Any suggestions?
P.S. Wish I had marshmallows with me so I can use it with the Meal worms I had in my trunk but oh well... |

Honestly, I haven't fished with corn since the first time I ever fished when I was a little kid. Why does corn work? Does that go for any spot where fish just aren't biting? |

Corn works very well for trout, even if they've gotten smarter after being pressured. |

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll have to get a can of corn and keep it in my car for emergency use haha. I use a size 10 hook for trout fishing so I'm assuming that'll work? Should I throw a few BB size split-shot on as well? |

If you're gonna drift the corn, don't make it too heavy with split shots. Just one small light split shot is fine. |

I usually put one or two on depending on how deep the water is and how fast it's moving. |

Try fishing the beach area where it leads into the woods. I had great luck there with mealworm and marshmellows. get a slip weight and cast it 15 degrees to your left and let it sit, let it have slack so the fish can take it without feeling it. _________________ - Shut up and fish

I'll give that a try next time. The guy at the bait shop I go to told me that the little bridge on the left where the water is running is a spot where you can kill them. I was fishing that spot too and got nothing. I hate getting skunked! |

I just got word that they stocked it a few days ago. I might head over there this weekend to give it another shot! _________________ Going for that trophy fish! |
