Fished Great River Park in East Hartford this morning with nothing but skunk. Other guys didn't catch anything either. It was overcast in the low 60s with light to moderate drizzle here and there. I threw sluggos, popper and a bucktail all to no hits. I will try again in a week and see if there's any striper action. |

That place is hit or miss but i know of atleast a few keepers coming out of this area so far this season. |

Every place is hit or miss, if it wasnt we wouldnt call it fishing would we? If there is a place that guaranties you a striper please let me know as I wouldnt mind hitting it after striking out at other places! _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

Yes,..stripers tend to move around. The best striper fishermen on the river have at least 8 or 10 spots, and they run and gun from one to the next until they find them!! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
