| Hit valley falls while my wife was walking the trails...trout were breaking the surface all over....I tried phoebe, a black and yellow rooster tail... put on a blue jointed rapala... played it like a topwater and caught a small bass... about 8 inches... valley falls is mainly trout (TMA) but there are bass and pickerel in there. I get looks from the oldtimers with there buckets and 2 ounce wieghts bottom fishing for 12 inch trout. I have to bring my wife to the airpost in WL tomorrow (today?) so I may head up to congamond to a couple of my favorite shore spots...or over to Bigelow.. but I need to really mow my lawn because I have to work Fri, Sat and sun then meet my wife in Vegas on monday! Lawn or fish????? |
