Pretty slow day today - launched at the baldwin bridge and headed north. Hit Hamburg Cove and Jeff managed to catch one keeper (about 32 inches) on a 5" flippin mullet (wooden topwater lure). I caught a few pickerel - they were very interested in my 9" sluggo. Water temp was 54 degrees. The main river was pretty chocolatey so we tried to avoid the main channel as much as possible. On the way out we tried to hit great island, but it was pretty breezy so we bagged it. In a few weeks its gonna be nuts for stripers!

Here are a few shots of the fish:

I managed to catch 3 of the beasts...biggest was maybe 20 inches. Not as big as the ones you posted earlier this week (I think it was you).

Nice work. That is good to know pickerel will go for the sluggos if the bass fishing is slow.

Good one Fishfinder Laughing Al nailed a nice LMB a few weeks ago on a Slugo, I think he has got every species out of the cove.
