Water is up finally but with it comes the dirty water but the fish are there.
My bud Slinger and myself hit the river last night and put a couple keepers in the boat, Slingers fish was a slob. An eel and a chartreuse plastic is what these fish fell for.

Very nice aqualung. That first one is a slob. I believe I know where your fishing. I've meet you at launch a few years back. I know someone was out last night got a nice fat 35 inches. |

have no idea how to post piks. have farm on river been fishing for 30 years would never bs. remember how it was in early 90's? when u could use alewives? 20 keepers a night no problem? 40 boats from launch to islands? old timer showed me squid trick. and when they are in u can catch them anytime. caught them mid day at times. And dont know if its legal but i live lined white perch 2 years ago from shore instant hook up. |

Stripers will eat anything you put in front of them. There in river for one reason to eat. Suckers work well too. Also live lining pumpkin seeds. |

they do spawn. one time out in the boat just below the 91 bridge i saw 2 stripers swimming in circles on the surface ignoring anything we threw at them. like rubbing each other. assume they were spawning. the do eat anything. cut one open one time wit 2 14 inch smallies in it |
