Hi,

No! I haven't been out for Kokes yet!
I mostly still fish and jig for them at night!

Wx has been lousy and there's been too much wind.
Not good to be out night fishing in that kind of Wx

Not to worry -> I'll be out soon enough ! Very Happy

Hi,

No! ....95% of WH is private and Brodie park (resident park beach area).
They had some vandalisim there so I do not know what the park policy is now!

Only public area is the boat ramp and dam area.

Hi,

Oh! .... So you know about Brenda's lobster roll ! Very Happy

They are super! Thumbs Up

The boat basin is very shallow -> so only in the fall will you find the spawning. Kokanee (they turn red at that time and not so good to eat as they get real mushy).

You'll need a boat to get to where they are now till end of September.
Daytime -> Trolling with wedding ring lure.
Nighttime -> Anchored and still fishing under lights.

i meant try for a few trout off the damn....

we normally fish for the kokes about half down the left shore line near the first little cove, at one point a couple years ago i was up there 5 out of 7 nights,
theres nothing like the taste of a fresh grilled kokanee
