I caught 2 sea robins today at a local peir. Shocked It's really early for them. I was shocked. I also had a few other bites, one that stripped out some line. Looks like everything's starting early this year Very Happy !

Hopefully the stripper was a Blue, I cant wait until they come in! Thanks for the update.

I think it was probably a bass or an angry sea robin. The chunk wasn't shredded.

Were you fishing the eastern, central, or western part of the Sound?
