The small mouth I caught on 4-11-2012. Caught it on an orange slash bait. 4-6' I believe which I was running very high.

Large mouth caught yesterday at my second favorite spot. Was also caught on an orange slash bait which I was running very high. All in all Colburn who is a member here and I caught 20-30 total large mouth. He beat me with quantity of large fish using a spinnerbait. He had a couple fours, two threes and a bunch of other two and unders.

I got him with this large mouth though. The scale said it was just shy of five pounds. All in all it was a great two hours of fishing!!!

I think I'd rather get the smallie than the largemouth. Nice fish, though.

Gotta love smallies... I'd be happy with smallies all year instead of LMB too.

What brand of "waiters" are you wearing?

Those are Hodgman lol... They are the cheapest ones you can buy at Walmart.. After a couple bad experiences with supposedly "good" waders I got sick of it and figured these would last long enough that I could replace them if I needed to. They work great for the 25$ I think I paid...

Used them quite a bit last year with no problems.

Maybe I'll pick a pair up, My buddy found some last year at dicks for $60 or $70.
I was thinking about getting those.
If my local walmarts carry them I could buy those and save a bunch.

Have you used them in salt water?
I was thinking about using them from the beach for striper abd blue fish.

Pm me your response rather then continue to go off topic in your thread =)

I have never used them in the salt water. I really don't see why the salt water would affect them any differently. Just wash them down when you're done with them and let them dry out. You should be all set. And if not you only got burnt $25 bucks.
