Went to Windsor yesterday to do some fishing on the CT River. The boat launch was packed with people fishing from it. Saw a handful of guys reeling in Shads left and right. Anyways, started fishing north and worked my way backwards as best as a I could without fighting the current too much. Landed a few fish, best of the day was 13" smallie.

Kept it and grilled it up stuffed with tomatoes and onions, tasted wonderful. My original intention was trying on Vibert rd, but there's no way I could launch my boat there I soon found out. Great day on the water I thought it was perfect weather and light wind.

Sorry about the Vibert Road boat launch ramp, Steve. Was it too muddy, too shallow or both?

No worries Phil! Yeah it was shallow and there was like some type of rock structure preventing me from launching. My boat is somewhat long so it wasn't deep enough. The mud wasn't actually as bad. The Bissell Bridge was only a few miles down the road anyway.
