After my trip to west lake, I figured I would see how many 12inchers I could catch from a local pond.
I ended up with one perch.
I missed some gills
I noticed a decent size LMB slowly swim from shore so I quickly cast, unlucky for me a small LMB stole my damn lure away from the larger fish!
I did manage to catch this monster of a bass
-From hook to the top, the daredevil I am using is 1½ -2 inch max

Last year at Twin Brooks Park I caught a dinky 2" yellow perch on a 2 3/4" Rapala Jointed in the brown trout pattern.
Years ago I caught a 7" sea robin on a 7" Bomber plug! |
