probably late now but...................fish slow. jerkbait on a long pause on the flats. dont be afraid to go shallow.

Thanks. I had no luck today but some guy was catching rainbow trout on salmon egg powerbait. I'll try my luck again tomorrow with something slow

Do you have an extensive collection of lead free lures? I haven't started mine, yet.

What do you mean PECo? It was really mucky close to the shore so retrieving was deceiving at times

Massachusetts regulations apply on the Congamond Lakes:

Quote:
4.05: Taking of Fish in Interstate Ponds Lying between Massachusetts and Connecticut.

(1) Persons duly licensed or otherwise entitled to fish under the laws of this Commonwealth or the State of Connecticut may fish in all portions of the following named waters.

(2) Massachusetts laws and regulations relating to fishing shall apply to all waters of Congamond Lake (Southwick) and Hamilton Reservoir (Holland). Connecticut laws and regulations relating to fishing shall apply to all the waters of Colebrook Reservoir (Sandisfield), Perry Pond (Dudley), Muddy Pond and Breakneck Pond (Southbridge).

Here's information regarding the Massacusetts ban on lead sinkers, weights and jigs that weigh less than one ounce:

Don't quote me but I have heard the the toxicity of tungsten is actually worse than that of lead.
