Thanks for the advice...now that I think about it I was fishing my last one while it was tied and it floated slowly and now I do have a swivel on do that may be the answer. I was wondering if I was going to have to buy a 20 dollar jerkbait so that it would suspend not sink or float.

You can also go with bigger or smaller trebles to tune your bait how you want it to act.

I typically don't tell people where I fish. Took me years to find quality non pressured water. I come on this site to share what's working at the time and see what's working for others. I'm not interested in sharing my spots or learning yours.
