Took the Hobie to Mamanasco today from 11:00 - 3:00. Started off fishing docks and laydowns on the nothern side with a spinnerbait...no takers. Headed to the far western end to get out of the wind and fished a frog in the heavy shallow weeds with no luck. Worked my way back down the southern shore and picked up my first keeper on a jig dropped through a hole in the weeds. Switched back to the spinnerbait and caught seven more with the largest at 2.9lbs. The spinnerbait fish seemed to be about 25 yds from shore and not tight to cover or structure. Back to the launch just as the worst of the showers hit. |

Cool, glad you found the fish and thanks for reporting where and what they were hitting on. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....
