Hit the river behind Dunkin Donuts for 45m today on my lunch break. Water levels were pretty low.
Tied on the 3/16oz jig and caught a nice 3lb smallie. Have a pic but it won't let me post until I have three reports.
Also had a knarly Pike follow the jig but I pulled it so I didn't have to retie my flouro, or lose my hot jig!
All in all the river is waking up. This coming from a guy who tried to stick it out and fish it during the winter. ALL WINTER. lol |
