well long story short went to the local pond and right as i got there i threw the rapala husky jerk 08 and caught a 1/2 pound bass. Thenn while in the paddle booat i switched to a wacky rigged black senko. I fished it for 45 minutes the 3 casts a a nice rock ledge i land a solid 4.2 my personal best!!!! on the senko the 5 minutes before we left i threw a gary yamamoto crawdad texas rigged and landed a pound largemouth. All in all slow for this pond we need rain to get the pre spawn in action. |

How was the wind out there? I was planning on going out this morning but decided to do some lawn work instead of fighting the wind. _________________

No, we need to warm days to spike the temp of the water to 57-60 degrees and keep it there, ugh such a waiting game |

Dble edged sword as far as temps go for some of us. I dont want it to warm up too much as Id like to get some trout fishing in when season opens but also want the water to warm up some for bass fishing now!!! _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....
