A fishing buddy and I were limited with his time today, so with his plans on getting gas before bring me home, we hit 2 spots on Lake Housatonic.
First was the Stevenson Dam over by Webb Mountain. I was getting yellows chasing a 6cm X-Rap Shad Shallow. Buddy caught 2 on worms. We were also seeing many breaks out towards the main current, which I thought were smallies going after insects.
Later we went to Pink House Cove where I didn't have any luck and my buddy caught an 11" largemouth on a 2" chartreuse Grub.
Had to get going around 11:30am. |
