This cold air has been killing it for me. Been out the past two nights with soft plastics and not getting a bite.

Suppose it's time to go back to spinners with slow retrieves.

Also, has anyone else tried the Gambler Dirty Otter (think thats the name).
Read a report on it being used in the Bassmaster and bought a pack. Things are doing amazing for me, but they fall apart pretty damn easy and its only a 5 pack. Time to get some more I suppose.

Its been a drag for me too!

I have been putting in a lot of hours on the water with minimal results hopefully by the weekend things will be turning around. All my bass and bites have been coming on soft jerkbaits worked SUPER SLOW over isolated cover.

As far as the baits, if you mean Gambler Ugly Otter they work amazing! You are correct they were used in a Bassmaster event, it's one of the baits Chris Lane used to become 2012 Classic champion!

Tight lines

Well hopefully the warmer weather today and possible rain later wakes them up again.

Yep, was getting slammed the other day and watching bass and pickerel jumping like crazy. Went yesterday and the water was shutdown, not a nibble!
