I can see one here or there but nothing consistent yet. Very shortly though they will be coming in but even with this warmer weather its too early. Im actually going to try out the Kayak that DirtyDawg gave me there today.

There are loads of holdovers in the river though 40-50lb'ers are doubtful. The warm temps this week woke the fish up and they became a bit more active.
Good luck if you head out.

Freakin windy as hell there today and the water was pretty rough for the Yak. I played around for about 2 hours on it but the current was taking me 1 way and the wind was taking me another way and I was about to cause a vortex in the water which would have sucked up the Earth so I came in and shore fished for about another hour. I caught a whole lotta nodda!

I gotta tell you, Wade, I'm relieved that you made it back alive. Derek and I talked about having to go get you 10 miles out in the Sound. Laughing

Let me know the next time you want to head out.

Yeah, made it back. I really need to limit what I bring with me also! I had 15 lbs of Sh!t stuffed into a 5 lb sack. I just cant seem to just bring a few things with me and I paid for that struggling to paddle with it all in my way! LOL what an idiot!

It would really help if I can just target 1 species or at least one water type! I had my saltwater gear and my fresh with 1 pole of each and 1 tacklebox of each, plus some bait. What an idiot! I have to say that Yak is pretty comfortable and didnt bother my back at all, Hopefully that part stays the same and wasnt just a lucky run.
