Hit the small pond again on Friday with another fishing buddy from 9:30am til 1:30pm. I stuck with the Tiny Torpedo. My buddy threw a few lures before switching over and sticking with a Hula Popper.

For the time we were there, I caught a total of 8 largemouths up to 2 pounds. The last one of the day came on a Rebel Pop-R after losing my last Tiny Torpedo in the bushes. My buddy caught 3 up to 1 1/4 pounds all on the Hula Popper.

Both of us had plenty of swirls and explosions and lost a few too.

The 2 pounder I caught was the same fish going after a small bass my buddy had stuck in the bushes. While that 2 pounder was swirling around and exploding on the tail of the smaller bass, I casted the Tiny Torpedo and caught it.

I left my cell phone in the car while we were fishing so am waiting for my buddy to text me the pic he took of me holding the 2 pounder. Once I receive it and download it, I'll post it.
