Hi all, I am a new member on this site. I am an avid bass fisherman and I look forward to reading posts and sharing with fellow anglers. The second week of April I am going to be in the Knoxville area fishing Douglas and Cherokee lakes!! I cant wait. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to shrink a pic. so as it is small enough to fit here as my avataar. Thanks

Hey welcome aboard. I had to use my micro soft bit-map paint image on my computer to shrink it down to fit. It tells you what your pixel size is I believe, it took a bit of work to fit our bass boat in my avatar. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the site.

A simple trick I do is open the picture with Window's Paintbrush. Then click on Resize in the upper left. After clicking on Resize, decrease the percentage of Horizontal and Vertical by the same number. That will make the picture smaller.

Hi Michael,

I use Microsoft Office and use the resize.
Does it by percentage ..... 25% -> 50% -> whatever size you want.
Much easier then reducing top/bottom and side margines.
