Got my first bass of the year today.
Fished from 1pm to 5pm, only got a bass and a perch. But the bass was a PIG. 
Got it near the causeway on a blk/blu jig. It weighed in at 6lbs 6oz, and is my new PB. Helluva way to start the season. And dont be thrown off by the pic, I was super excited  .

Just kidding!  Congratulations! How long was it? Mine was only 21 inches long.
