Hi,
Next 3 days the wind is predicted to be from the south.
THAT! does not bode well for any fishing.
I'm not sure why -> But every time I've fished with the wind coming from the south its been pretty much poor.
Fishing always seems to really pick up when the wind is from the north!
Well at least the temps are going up...So hopefully the water warms up more and the fish will get more active.

Hey SD, bass legend Jimmy Huston says just the opisite, "when the wind is from the south, fish put the lure in thier mouth, when the wind is from the north, fishermen best not go forth". I actually have no idea if that's true at all, I just go out whenever I get the chance regardless of wind or pressure. We had a pretty good day yesterday(me,Phil,Jason) out at Hamburg cove, with the south wind. We'll see I guess. |

Wind from the west, fishing is the best. Wind from the east, fishing is the least.
I'm fishing no matter which direction it's coming from. Some days we just have to work harder than others. |
