Beautiful day out there again today! Got out on the water around 5:30 (buddy works late, so we made due with the 1 1/2 hours we had) and headed to our favorite cove in the pond. We don't usually start until a month from now, but I started throwing a T1 perch Terminator spinner anyway. 3rd cast in produced my first LM for the year. A 3 1/2lb beauty!!
We got 2 other 8 inch LM and my partner missed a good size pickerel. All in all, a good first trip out. Season is looking up already!

Nice! I've been pleasantly surprised by how well spinnerbaits are working right now, too. Now, try a big curlytail grub! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter!

Thanks. Didn't try a grub, but missed several small strikes on a 4" wacky senko. We'll see how it all goes down. If this weather keeps up, the spinner may be my primary bait for quite some time |

Thanks....it's in Northfield, right off RT 254. I think it's listed as Northfield Cutlery Pond or something weird like that. |
