Member FishFinder (Wade) picked me up Saturday morning and we stopped at TC Marine to grab nightcrawlers and a dozen small shiners and then go to the estuary cove at O'Sullivans Island.

Both of us never saw anything happen with small live shiners.

Tide was just starting to come in when we got there and didn't get into any fish until the water got higher.

Many schools of white perch kept on doing a circle around the cover and we were into them for a while with nightcrawlers on the bottom with no weight.

After a 15 minute run, 5 to 10 minutes would go by with hardly anything before the whites arrived again.

From about 9am til 1:30pm we caught a lot and sizes ranged from striper bait to a few chubby 9"ers.

Wade saw a school of small fish go by us.

Thank you very much Wade for getting me out to go fishing and becoming a fishing partner. I'll get you into plenty more freshwater fishing.

Micheal
Good report and also very interesting to me

I fish alot of that area and last time I was down there i saw the perch so thick
it looked like the bottom jumped up 15 feet. If it were'nt for my under water camera i wouln't have known they were perch. just tons of them and there were moving around too.

Went there today and went site fishing. Didnt see any schools in the cove and went around up the naugy looking for some schools. Seen nothing nor did i catch anything. I hooked into what looked like a small baby salmon. Got loose when i brought it up to canoe. Will not ever go back here for white perch. the only people catching white perch with live bait were all under size. Not worth the trip nor the time. HAMBURG no substitutions!!!!!!!
