Dang, yesterday 3/5/12 i went to Baldwins pond near the train tunnel and i was using a swim bait that had a treble gook on the bottom that actually looks like its swimming so i was casting it off the concrete ledge when theis 5lb bass shot out of no where took the bait as i hooked it it came off and i had 3 more encounters, second time it broke one of the hooks from the treble hook off then i almost caught it again but it came off then the last time it broke my line..... UGHHHHHH i need more swimbaits goto the concrete ledge near the train tunnel near the highway at baldwins pond in Meriden CT and use a swim bait and jerk it as you reel it in BRING A SECOND PERSON AND A 2FT LONG BY 2FT WIDE NET, Good luck
