I have heard that there are some bass in the Seymour reservoirs and recently checked it out in the anglers guide. I live about 20 or 25 minutes from there so I will definitely be trying it out when it gets a little warmer. Has anyone ever been and/or had any success there, thanks |

I started fishing there last year and have caught largemouths, pickerel, and yellow perch. |

from your other posts I see that you like rapalas, what other lures have you used there? I like to use rubber worms for bass, have you tried them over there? |

This is actually one of my favorite places to fish in warmer weather, I go quite a bit, I have fished all 4 and know them all pretty damn good if I dont say so myself, shoot me a PM with any questions or ask in the thread, I have pulled quite a few bass out of them ranging from 5-8 pounds, I think its one of the best kept secrets. . .OOPS |

Original Floaters, Shallow Shad Raps, and Jointed Shad Raps have been my success there. The 7cm and 9cm is right for the Original Floater. 5cm and 7cm is good for the Shallow Shad Rap. The 4cm is what I use for the Jointed Shad Rap. |

Most of my success, by success I mean bigger quality fish, comes on KVD sexy shad cranks, football head jigs (black/blue), and berkely power hawgs (green pumpkin), pretty much this is all I bring when I go there, YES I leave the beloved senkos behind |

I have the same kayak you have an I have fished those reservoirs. Its a fun little walk but its worth it to bring the kayak. I love hitting those spots that people can't hit from land. All those resevoirs are different in their own ways. I'm in seymour so its nice local spot for me. |

Well I went to the last 1 today and bombed afgter 2 hours of throwing a few things out there including crawlers. I assume thats the worst res. out of them all? I went pretty late and didnt feel like getting back in the car and hiking much more as my back wasnt to into it already today but had to get out of the house for awhile. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

Yeah, I parked right at the beginning. Is it a long walk to the other 2? Think of someone with a bad back before saying yes or no maybe compared to the one where I went today. Thanks _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

For me number 2 is the money spot but there are good fish in 3 too. Its not that bad walk to get there. I seem to have the best luck where you can't fish from shore |
