I'm going fishing tomorrow with my brother for bass. I've tried using Senkos, spinner baits, and crank baits and got not even a hit. Any ideas on what else to try?

suspending jerk baits with small twiches and then pause the bait 5-15 seconds. Try not to over work the bait as it will not apeal to bass in cold water. I like to use 1/4oz jigs and tubes in cold water as well or drop shot with 4in finesse worms. hope this helps

I really think it depends on where and when and the clarity of the water

I fished a place over the week end and didnt catch or see any thing
fished with live minnows and various lures

buddy and I went out on wed to another pond and caught bass and crappie.
thurs he went out for a while, the water seemed clearer than wed.
He tried minnows and other lures (same as we used the day before) and caught ONE bass!

im gonna post pics of the fish after reading all of these other posts

good luck

Caught another decent small mouth last night right at dark on a imitation waxworm jig. Dont know the real name for it.

try going fishing in and around warm fronts, sometimes the bite this time of year is significantly better on the warmer days! Cool

Hi Bassman,

Shocked ....Wx hasn't been too good (windy) and still cold out..... Also a lot of people just coming out of hibernation + the remaining ice has just melted.

Give it a bit of time (couple of weeks) -> Sun shining and temps rising -> Guys will be out soon enough and a lot more reports will start coming in! Very Happy
