Hi flippy,
Yeah! But I sure do want it to be spring and NOW!
Have had enough cold + losy ice fishing season.
Since the fish didn't get pressured this winter -> Hope the rest will be a banner year for fishing.
Time will tell!

SD, cold?? What cold? LOL, just kidding. I sure can get used to winters like this more often. I probably save at least 3 tanks of oil over previous winters! _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

Hi ff,
Yep! Was a very mild winter -> Just want it to warm up more and get rid of that remaining skim ice so I can launch my boat.
That skim ice can sure cut up a boats hull like razor blades.
Also nice to shed the heavy clothing and feel the sun!

Not a bad way to start the season. If that place is like that now I could only imagine come spring time. |

Am I the only one that can see that Elixr was clearly saying lol as a compliment to Peco's post? He thought what Phil posted was funny, hence the quote. Why is it that people always jump on new people on this forum? Cut the dude a break. |

Hey Phish,
Long time no hear!
How have you been?
Ah? As for Elixir -> he just tends to use the wrong emoticon at times to get his meaning across ( shock insted of the lol ) - He'll get the hang of it !
So? You ready for a new open water season?

Hello, Seadog!!!
Well I am definitely ready for open water here in the land where the water didn't close this year. I moved to Missouri in July of last year. Yes, that means I don't have a dog in the fight in this forum, but as a lurker and member emiratu, I felt the need to stick up for Ellixr.
I miss you guys and my 10 minute access to the CT river. My goal for this summer is to explore the Mighty Missouri, parts of the Mississippi, and some of the ridiculous lakes that the Midwest and South have to offer.
You guys take care. I hope to have some out of state reports by May (I had elbow surgery to fix my hook sets and can't fish for a bit).

Hi Jed,
Hope your elbow gets better soon!
Have you considered taking up Bow fishing for those jumping (or is that flying) Carp they have in the Miss and Missouri!
Those things are nuts
Surprised no one out that way hasn't tried catching them commercially for the Asian markets! -> Would think there's a small fortune to be made selling them overseas!
Stay in touch!
Best regards,
