Kinamis in Watermelon finesse by structure. Or bounce a pink trick worm right along lilly pads like a frog in summertime....fun to see those hits.

I used to use senkos all the time but they can get expensive if you catch fish. I have had very good luck with ebay knockoff senkos. They seem to hold up even better than the senkos and fish attack them just as much.

Senko's are wildly popular for a reason. Keep an eye out for Dick's Sporting Goods sales. They'll have 1 or 2, 2 packages senko's for $10 sales during the spring. As for color I have not found one that does not work. I purposely tried some of the more wild colors, too, with great success. I use dark colors with reflective flake for clear water, throw in a dark senko with a bright half for stained water, and a more natural color like pumpkin or watermelon with black flake for normal conditions.

Hey dan, I'd like to try out those ebay "senkos". Is there a particular seller that has good ones? Thanks

Bait helps. Rolling Eyes I'll match a wacky rigged Senko against your bare hook any time, colburn! Laughing

Seriously though, I know what you mean. I've tried to flip with little success while watching flippy haul in fish after fish after fish. It's a skill that I'll never have unless I buy a bigger boat. But when asianfisher showed me how to fish a jig for sea run white perch last year, after a while I finally got it.

Everybody in the world knows senko's are very good. The quality for fishing is good while the quality of the physical bait sucks. At eight dollars a pack it's making it hard to justify buying them.

You fish em texas and they are done after one fish pretty much. You fish em whacky and you better have the o-rings on them or you'll be changing them often.

Colburn, I really dislike your comment. You're fishing for a bass not an ocean fish or carp. You know damn well it's the bait. If you're going to say it's not the bait then don't forget to add it's the fisherman, weather, location, water temp, depth, structure, wind strength and direction, fishing gear, and the list goes on.

Eat that. Laughing

hello i was searching online to find out good senkos to use for bass for advice but i could not find anything. I am going to keeney cove today

"you lie"
lol are you sure you cant find any info
There is info all over the net about senkos / stickbaits

If you want senkos look for them on sale

I use Kinami stick baits (senkos) and they are just about the same weight, salted, and softness as a senko

Plenty of good colors ESPECIALLY moss!

Senko color for spring - pumpkin 3in worked great for me
