| I've never been to the show in Hartford but I have been to Gander Mtn and they did have a better fishing selection than Cabela's. I still end up at either Cabela's or Dick's because they are both 5min from where I work. The only other place I go is CT Outfitters. I could throw a rock and hit their store from where I work. |

Hi DD,
Yup! GM is better than Cabelas + more selection on everything and their prices are so much lower! (even in NY).
We sure could use a GM or Bass Pro here in New England to give Cabelas some competition.
Still will give the little guys my day to day business!

I'm up for a road trip...you'll have to drive so I can drink though...lol
I'm not sure how my post ended up in here. I thought it was in the other thread  That will teach me to surf the web on a tablet computer

| No snap, it was quite boring, unless you like deep sea charters or hunting stuff. As far as what's a better store...Bass Pro shops is about an 1.5 hours away, I live in manchester so Dicks is 5 minutes and cabelas is 6 minutes away. If Bass Pro shops builds a store in Ct and it's close enough I'll go there more often.. they look awesome on tv and on the websites. I wish the 3rd week of April would get here. |
