Almost 2yrs back I saw a similar post to the one below and ended up meeting a great fishing buddy, great friend and started fishing on the water instead of next to it. So it's come time for me to pay it forward...

If you'd like to try fishing from a boat instead of just the shore, I have a Coleman Fastback inflatable kayak that I don't use anymore. I used it frequently for over a year. When I got the kayak it had a leak in one of the 3 inflation valves. I patched it and have had no issues since. I also have an extra tube of the adhesive I used to patch it, which I got from the manufacturer.

I also have a Coleman pump that you plug into a car's 12v DC socket to inflate and deflate it. It's pretty cool. It blows up the air bladders, but also sucks the air right out of them when it's time to go. You'd just need to get a PFD (i.e., personal floatation device or life preserver) and a paddle.

PMed ya. Nice fish my friend!!! That would be perfect for me as I dont have money to buy a Kayak, and I have a bad back to carry one on top of it!!

Met up with dirtydawg, damn nice guy! I gave him 6 bottles of assorted homemade wine as payment. I hope he likes it as much as Im going to like getting on the water this year!!!! Thanks!!!!!

lol...I'm from West Fitchburg so it's a different breed on that side of Town Wink

Tim...I am getting a new kayak within the next month or so. Going to pick up a Trophy 126. Pretty soon CT Fishtalk can start our own Trophy 126 Navy fleet. Very Happy
