Same thing with me FishFinder.
The only other time I'll stay up all night is if I have nothing better to do the next day and it's not a good fishing day. Then I just hang out playing computer games at home and surfing on Ebay for nice lures. |

Bunnells Pond at Beardsley Park closes November 30. I know the line between Bunnells Pond and the Pequonnock River so I can keep fishing throughout the trout season.
That point at Bunnells Pond facing towards the pipe coming from the Connector is the Bunnells Pond - Pequonnock River line. |
I thought I knew you from another site... _________________

A good time I had last year PECo was jigging with a size 3 chrome blue Rapala Jigging Rap at Black Rock Pond in Watertown.
While my closest fishing buddy was jigging in another hole right near me, he was using a small Kastmaster rigged with mealies. He kept on getting robbed while I'd set the hook on the fish.
Rainbow trout both of us brought home had my buddy's meal worms in their stomachs. |

What I'd be happy to do for you Sam is by keeping in touch with each other, become freshwater fishing partners so I can show you places no more than 30 minutes from my place that are good from shore. I'll be happy to introduce you to how many different Rapala lures are always bound to catch me a largemouth bass 4 pounds and over.
If you need my phone number, send me a private message. |

Michael, Watertown is the next town over from me so you be in my neck of the woods sometimes! I did some trout fishing today and got skunked. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

I didn't know you were 13 Sam.
Bunnells Pond gets very weedy once the temps get high enough. There's a few special spots to hit the crappie in May and June. Bass fishing around coves during pre-spawn is productive. Not much pickerel even though you can still catch one. Channel cats and brown bullheads are productive on evenings during the warmer summer and fall months. Trout, perch, and white suckers with worms on the bottom in April and May. Rock bass get very aggressive in the summer and there's lots of redbreasts too.
Lures imitating a yellow perch, bluegill, brown trout, alewife, herring, and baby bass are productive. Firetiger, shiney silvers, pearl silvers, and purple are also good.
Jigging from the bridge with a small soft plastic or maribu is productive in the spring.
Years ago Bunnells Pond was drained which destroyed lots of the fish. Now you don't find as many pickerel as there used to be. A keeper yellow perch is rare. Bass over 2 pounds are rare. Still plenty of carp and white suckers to be found which made it through the drainage. |
