| I'm new to this forum but I use it a lot and I thought I would give you guys an ice report for Pachaug Pond. There is currently between 1 and 4 inches of punky ice on the south end of the pond. Someone had been out there before me and drilled a few test holes but I would not recommend fishing it for at least another week if it is cold, which it isn't suppose to be. The ice changes thickness much to fast to be safe for any type of fishing and defiantly do not take an ATV or heavy shanty out there unless you want it at the bottom. Hope to try and get out soon and I will try and keep you folks informed, good luck fishing other lakes. |
