it was so cold
only a couple quick small hits
1 hour and nothing
thats the trip of the day it cost the 3 of us about $115 which included a no sealt belt ticket
some boats pulled in with bags n bags of clams aboard and loaded them on to a box truck which was the most entertainment we had gotten WHILE fishing today _________________

Ya hafta go UP river... Saw many shore casters land stripers today (12/19). We and other boaters were catching more than our share, but I was happy to see the shore guys getting in on the action. |

Sorry, I'm not gonna SPOT burn on the internet. It's unfair to the guys who have put in the time to find the fish. I've given lots of information, some may say too much.
Drive around. Find some access. Observe. Talk to guys one on one. You'll be glad you did. Good Luck! |

We caught 177 last Saturday. Pretty easy "catching" more than "fishing". Look at the fish mega-load on the sonar. Gets kind of boring compared to CT River winter fishing. Very one-dimensional. I'm taking a couple friends out there tomorrow, otherwise I'd be smallie, Walleye, and cat fishing.

Calm main river areas below points. Usually 20-40' deep. This snowy spot matched that description and gave up a pair of 5 pounders.

The Stripers were on the Housy, the Smallies were on the CT River in Massachusetts several years ago. _________________ Real boats don't have propellers!
