|
|
As of January 1, 2012, freshwater anglers will not be allowed to use lead fishing sinkers and lead jigs weighing less than one ounce. The ban is now prohibited in all inland waters of the Commonwealth. “Lead sinker” or “lead weight” is defined as any sinker or weight made from lead that weighs less than 1 ounce. A “lead jig” is defined as any lead-weighted hook weighing less than 1 ounce.

Does not affect Ct. at all.

Phew. Sorry if it was us. I dont have a lot of money so when I spend about $40 on some sinkers and they decide they want to change the law they better come pay me for them and full price. Kind of like if they say guns are banned, they better give me full price for mine or they will have to pry the guns out of my cold dead fingers! _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

Lead split shot sinkers don't hurt my teeth when I bite them closed, I'll still use them |

Since they are lead I try not to do that but will admit to doing it when I forget my pliers. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

I believe that the Congamond Lakes fall under the Mass. rules and not Ct. although you can use Ct. lic. there. |
