had 3-4 inches of ice on my coy pond drilled some holes and they were circular but it took me like 5 minutes a hole the blades would not cut on my strikemaster brand new mora 6inch what am i doing wrong |

Hi,
Didn't you say the auger was new and that you used a blade sharpener on it?
If so you may have screwed up the bevel of the cutting edge.
Those blades come pre-sharpened so there's no need to hone the blades before use.......+ the sharpener must be placed and used in one specific direction per blade.
