Stripers. Still a few blues around as of 6 or 7 days ago. Herring in by december. _________________ Trust me. Use waxworms ! |

You could probably find some stripers lingering around. They will most likely be hanging around estuaries and tidal rivers now. Get your self some sabiki rigs for Sea Herring when they arrive. They too will be in estuaries and tidal rivers when they come. They are good to eat (for me atleast) and are good Striper bait. During the Spring when Stripers chase alewives, I like to use dead whole sea herring I caught and froze over the winter as bait, considering the fact you can't take the alewife (river) herring. The stripers can't really tell the difference |
