Too damn hot to fish! Yeah thats right too damn hot to fish... I know I am entering my golden years but by 11 a.m. it was HOT. anyway I missed more bass than I caught. I always thought a BUZZBAIT was sort of a dummy bait the fish just about hooked themself; I must have missed a dozen fish (Oh yeah I was using a trailer hook). any way the ones I did catch were nothing great 6 or 7 SMB all about a pound or so and 3 LMB also about the same size. water temp was 73 and the water which was clear on Monday and Tuesday now is getting the pea soup effect from Lake Zoar. Hopefully it will cool down a might. cmorjoe |

Any time I begin to complain about the heat, I just think about what it was like in Feb & March and all of a sudden the heat is not so bad,.....works every time! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

9 or 10 bass by 11am doesn't sound too bad to me. The lake did look pretty clear for this time of year when I was out Tuesday. Congrats on the ones you did catch. |

Chuck makes a good point Joe! I think you complain about the cold and snow even more than the heat so it could be worse. Just think about all the times I've invited you to fish in December and January, to which you said no after thinking about the cold, and the heat will feel good.
By the way, summer school is almost over and the baby is almost here. Another couple of weeks and I'll be able to join you for those quick three hour trips. |

I said "CRY"...!!!
