I am a big fan of 5 inch senkos in pumpkin (with red flake) and black (with blue flake). I have had great luck with those colors. |

My most productive color has been watermelon/cream, but pretty much any color will produce fish. Grab one you like and give em a shot! |

yes u can. if i were you i would also try the swimming senkos (brown with purple flakes) are amazing. drag them on the bottom really slow and keep your line tight so you can feel the fish nibbling it. let some line out for the fish to take it out and then snag it, caught some nice fish that way. |

for the swimming senkos i would recommend the gamatsaku weedless hooks so you dont get caught on any rocks or weeds. |

1. Senkos are XXXpensive=7 bucks a bag...and tear easily....one fish usually rips it to pieces..i dont think they are worth it
2. You can buy the generic ones at Walmart/Kinami Baits (made by Gary Yamamoto) may not have as many colors..same product
3. Yum dingers are cheaper, get more worms per bag than Senkos..are stronger, wont tear as easily
4. Gander Mountain (need to drive to NY) has the best deal for worms per bag...they are more durable...but you need to drive to NY/order online
5. Use O rings (can buy them at Cabellas) for wacky worming..so your worm isnt TORN when hooking it...id use a spinning reel set up for worming btw
6. Bass become more inactive as the weather COOLs...so fish during daylight/warm times of day...so they are tougher to catch, have to fish very very slow, even throw a jig/craw and go slow..i hate winter!!!! _________________ Success Favors the Brave.......... |

not even joking dude. maybe my senkos are really good but i let the fish take the senko for a couple of seconds so i get them good instead of ripping it right out of there mouth the first second. |

The only colors you need for senkos are blk/blu, green pumpkin, and watermelon/red. Use yamamotos with o-rings for wacky rigging and yum dingers for anything else. I try not to over complicate senkos since fish seem to bite them so readily. _________________ Catch and release only.

Green pumpkin is probably the best all roung color to use. sometimes a 4" senko is what the bass want. A black with blue end tip is a choice that's worked fo me when the greenpumpkin isn't producing. |

The five inch black with chartreuse tip Senkos seem to get me a lot of nibbles and bites from smaller fish. I think that they just grab the chartreuse tip. But I definitely use them, especially if the bite is off or slow. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

It may get a lot of nibbles Phil, but that combo in the right place is going to get you into a toothy run for your money eventually, lol |
