I haven't been back to Nod Brook WMA since The Great Flood. The last time that I was there, I launched at the bottom of the paved road and the Farmington River was flowing directly into the upper (i.e., south) pond.
Has everything there settled back down to normal? I'm already looking forward to ice fishing there this Winter. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

yeah, as far as i can tell, everything seems closer to normal. the dirt parking area where the upper dumps into the lower pond was ravaged by the flooding, but it's recently been smoothed out again. the water's been higher ever since then but not too bad.
ice fishing? may have to ski by and check it out. |
