I belong to a local Bass Club called the Tobacco Valley Bass Anglers that is opening its membership up to new members for the 2012 season.
We are looking for both BOATERS and NON-BOATERS...The club is very interested in anyone interested, but we have a particular interes in NON-BOATERS given we only have a couple remaining!!
I only say that to encourage people without boats to give us some thought!!
We do our club meetings at a members house located in Enfield Ct the 3rd tuesday of the month. During the off season we usually go every other month and during the fishing season its every month.
MEMBERSHIP DUES
Members will pay a fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) for club dues and an additional thirty dollars ($30.00) for National Federation dues for a total of ninety-five dollars ($95.00). Members who have paid the National Federation dues through a separate chapter are exempt from the thirty dollar ($30.00) Federation dues and need only pay the club dues of sixty-five dollars ($65.00). Any member wishing to join the Connecticut Bass Federation must pay an additional dues of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). |

Im really interested in joining a club and this one from what i heard could be a great fit it seems like your just a bunch of fish addicted people like myself you except non boaters which i am and it also seems like you wouldn't be the type of people to treat non boaters like crap ive heard my fair share of non boater horror stories i believe i sent an email a few days ago to your club site so hopefully ill be hearing from you guys and you give me some thought. Thanks. Joe. |

Joesenko,
If you are still interested in our club we are interested in you. As a non-boater in the club, I can say you will be treated fairly and I don't have any horror stories from being a non-boater here. It is a good group of guys that really want to fish and have fun |

It's ok that you live far from Enfield, we fish all around the state. The meetings were held in Enfield, but may be moving to Columbia. The guys in the club just want to fish and have fun putting what they know to the test. We do 11 competitive tournaments a year with a couple team tournaments just for fun, no points involved. It's $30 a tournament, $5 towards year end prize winner and $5 lunker, and the rest gets paid out. It's a good way to get out and fish nice lakes with some friends with a chance for a payout. For some pictures of the fish we catch and people in the club, etc. check us out on facebook at Tobacco Valley Bass Anglers. I believe last years schedule is posted as well. |
