Took a quick trip to Keeney today from 7am-10am. No wind, water was pretty cold...lower 60's. Launched at Wethersfield Cove and took a trip quickly to White Oaks. 2 fish between both of us but at least my lunker was 2lbs...
Caught it on a crankbait lure near the trees at Keeney. I never have really been a fan of crankbaits but I thought I would give it a try and while I took it in on the slow retrieve the fish nailed it... _________________ Steve |

Sweet. I need to hit some more spots this week before I winterize my boat. _________________ Steve |

Thanks. I really like the area over there with all the trees. I dont think I can launch at Wethersfield anymore though...my SUV was pretty much submerged in water trying to launch yesterday. _________________ Steve |

It is tough to launch there with the water so high. It's not easy at average levels either but when it's high it is much worse. |

Is the water still up today because it has been flooded for a week? |
